		<description>I understand the purpose of Inoqo and its benefits to hotels: It offers a standardized platform for distressed inventory to be sold via twitter. This isn&#039;t much different from giving commission to a wholesaler for selling the hotels product, but what I do not understand is why these hotels cant do this themselves? At the moment, Hilton Anaheim has 3700 followers, I am sure they could handle some twitter promotions in-house.

I guess the other thing that confuses me about these kinds of services is that they are are free and accessible to anyone. Its not some XML feed or complicated technology that takes a team of professionals to implement and buckets of money thrown its way to get started. From an operational perspective, I think the hardest part will be having hotels load their own last minute deals, but this hinges on the usability of the interface. Judging by who is on board, I am sure they will get it right.
