Rather more of a clarification. in 2000 it was Travelocity&#039;s parent Sabre who purchased the recently renamed Getthere and merged it with their Sabre BTS subsidiary. Getthere&#039;s original name was ITN - for Internet Travel Network. Sabre paid a cool $757 Million for the business at the time. Thanks to SC for the corrections. Cheers. TOD.</description>
