• Indian online travel giant Yatra appoints Raja Natesan as chief operating officer. Previously at Interglobe Technology Quotient, Natesan has also worked for Kingfisher Airlines, Galileo India, IGT Solutions, AFL and Air France.

2 March 2010:

• Fabian Specht joins IDeaS as regional managing director for EMEA. Specht will replace Uli Pillau who is stepping down after 11 years with the business. He joins from Micros Fidelio Software and previously worked at InterContinental Hotel Group.

17 February 2010:

• ATD Travel Services appoints Ashley Jones as new head of online development. Jones, formerly of TUI Travel, will work across the companies portfolio of online brands including DoSomethingDifferent.com, Attraction Tickets Direct and Complete Orlando.

9 February 2010:

• TripAdvisor creates new position to oversee its Business Listing initiative. Guillaume Thevenot leaves Amadeus to become marketing development manager for EMEA with TripAdvisor. Thevenot was previously business development manager at Amadeus.

3 February 2010:

• Former-LG Electronics marketing director Andrew Warner joins Expedia as its new senior marketing director for EMEA. He will report to Mikael Andersson, vice-president EMEA at the OTA giant.

3 February 2010:

• HotelsCombined hires Hichamme Assi as head of strategy for online marketing. Assi was previously general manager for Australia and New Zealand at Octopus Travel and head of ecommerce at the On Holiday Group in the UK.

20 January 2010:

• Pegasus Solutions announces appointments of Mark Peacock to chief information officer (CIO), Ric Leutwyler to chief operating officer (COO) and Steve Lapekas to executive vice president of corporate business development. Connie Rheams becomes senior vice president of strategic sales and Mike Montemurro is new vice president of CRS product management.

14 January 2010:

• Juergen Witte to be first country manager for Travelport in Germany. Reporting directly to Olaf Gueldner, president and managing director of Europe and Brazil, Witte joins from Ebookers where he was MD for Germany and Austria.

11 January 2010:

• Ex-Bluesky Travel Systems product and technical director Tom Steele joins TravelTainment. Steele heads a new tour operating division of eight for the Amadeus-owned business and will be based in Manchester.

4 January 2010:

• Robin Sutherland, an ex-Travelzest and Expedia executive, joins former-Thomson (First Resort) colleague Graham Donoghue at Travelsupermarket. Sutherland is now general manager at the metasearch giant, reporting into managing director Donoghue. Sutherland’s recent position was vice president for retail at Isango.
