Technology geeks encouraged to brave the outside world with new travel guide

More travel websites for the long tail of activities and interests – this time one exclusively for the preserve of what many (unkindly?) call tech geeks.

FourEyesUp is a Netherlands-based brand bringing together guides and advice for locations around the world targeted only at those with a deep interest in technology and science might appreciate.

Part-expert written, part-user generated, FourEyesUp covers such destinations as the Google Garage in California and Micrsoft Center in Washington to the CERN laboratory in Switzerland and the Bletchley Park codebreaking centre in the UK.

FourEyesUp claim there are “hundreds” of tech-driven tourist destinations around the world that do not have budgets to advertise, prompting the site’s backers to launch the service and encourage fellow tech fans to contribute.
