Brokepacker covers one of the worst songs of all time

Life as a startup means you can try anything – and often will do absolutely anything – to get attention, even if it means risking a well-heeled marketing pro recoiling in horror in years to come.

So while the likes of Priceline will enlist the services of William Shatner to spearhead its high-profile marketing campaign, Australia-based budget and networking site Brokepacker is making good use of its, err, own marketing money.

With an enormous tongue planted firmly in an equally large cheek, parody of a truly horrendous boy band classic appears to be the only way to go…

  1. Yes, that is painful to listen to BUT, and this is a big BUT, I can see the potential appeal for twenty something couchsurfers. I am guessing they know their demographic, cause I sure as heck don’t.
