If Expedia.com was a country it would be bigger than Slovakia

Or at least that’s the view of Web Empires by Sharenator, a tool which produces “visual” results of website traffic.

The system works by calculating average daily visitor numbers from Alexa ratings of thousands of websites around the world, then comparing it to the population of countries.

So, according to WE, Expedia would be the 110th largest country in the world, nestled between Kyrgyzstan (109th) and Slovakia (111th).

The site also uses other visualisations to demonstrate the size of a site, such as how many sport stadiums are needed to house the daily number of visitors to a site.

In this case, 55 Texas stadiums would be required for Expedia’s supposed 5.5 million visitors every day.
