UK-based travel planning and guide service Tripbod is heading to San Francisco for a week of meetings and plenty more with other startups and luminaries from the area.
The trip came about after Tripbod featured on the Jason Calacanis show This Week in Startups earlier this month. Calacanis is involved in the Launch conference this week, an event at which Tripbod is hoping to pitch.
Tnooz persuaded CEO Sally Broom, colleague Liz Sutcliffe and business partner Colin Hayhurst to keep a record of their trip on video, documenting what it is like to be a UK startup in the Valley, interviews with people with they meet along the way and feedback on the scene.
Here, in part one, excitement at London Gatwick airport turns a bit sour after part of the aircraft goes missing…

Looking forward to seeing more videos! Great doco!
Ah so welcome to the real world. Personally I would have videoing all the announcements during the 2 hour + delay.
Its great when the ether and real world’s collide in the wonderful expression of blogging bliss.
I hope the airline concerned made it up to them
Cheers
