  • Travel agency franchisor Travel Leaders redesigned its consumer website, making it easier for travelers to contact certified specialists, the company says. Travel offers or sections with a “thumbs up” icon have links to a vacation request form which gets routed to a specialist. The revamped site also has been tweaked with SEO in mind.
  • The Bermuda Department of Tourism introduced the Bermuda Travel & Vacation Guide, a free iPhone app  which enables users to search for attractions, map locations and tap to call. iCrossing, which has worked with the tourism board since 2008, developed the app.
  • EZYield says it enhanced Travel Tripper’s RezTrip hotel booking engine to enable hotels to manage base and floating rates from EZYield channel-management interfaces.
