Air India lags as low costers dominate – Top India travel websites, 18 June 2011

The three leading low cost carriers in India – Indigo, Jet Airways and SpiceJet – have secured a 43% share of visits to airline websites in the country.

National carrier Air India’s two main websites – AirIndia.com and AirIndiaExpress.in, in fifth and sixth place respectively – manage to grab a 12% slice of the market, just short of SpiceJet’s share.

Kingfisher Airlines in fourth place has around a 9.5% share.
