Hotel chain to paper bedroom with wishes from Facebook fans

Melia International has launched a quirky social media campaign inviting Facebook fans to tell them their dreams.

The company has set up a website for the campaign and plans to decorate a room with a mural based on the best submissions.

The groups’ seven brands will promote the campaign via their Facebook pages over the next 10 days.

This is a first social networking initiative from Melia International, which established a social media division earlier this year.

The campaign is reminiscent of a promotion in April from KLM where the faces of fans on Facebook were painted on an aircraft.
