Could this whizzy pee-2-pee app be a big opportunity for Airbnb hosts?

No idea if this is someone with a very good sense of humour or just another genuine yet wacky startup idea – but welcome to a new take on the person-to-person travel distribution channel.

Yes, it’s known unofficially as pee-2-pee or, by its rightful name, Cloo, a system whereby homeowners in cities around the world can register their bathrooms for the enjoyment of users of the app (clearly too daft to figure out where a public toilet is situated).

Lots of social media-led rating and sharing tools, funky design, hipster focused, etc.

Seriously, maybe.

Either way, gushing fans (no pun intended) of the Airbnb model will be absolutely thrilled.

The (perhaps unintentionally hilarious) video clip does the idea more justice than any words ever could:

NB: Big hat-tip to Tnooz Node Alex Bainbridge for the pee-2-pee reference :)

They have to be absolutely joking…! And it says ‘for the price of a latte??’ OMG – by the time I type a message, wait for someone to reply and race over to their home spending 10 mins apologizing for the inconvenience…I could’ve gone to a hotel, restaurant or bar toilet. They must be taking the p*** with this app. But love it!!

  2. Steve Reynolds says:

This service is awesome. I had to pee three times while in NY and this app worked every time. Not only did I get a place to pee but I was able to do #2 as well. Can’t wait for the IPO.

  3. Bob Rogers says:

What I think is most impressive about the app is that it connects with your innate needs. Interested to see what happens when they float it on the stock market.

  4. Mike Tawil says:

Is this just Phase (number) 1? Surely there should be variable fees, using the old H2G2 policy of weighing users before & after, then charging by the pound.

Love the IPO idea, Steve – I detect the sweet smell of, erm…
