Expedia hones in on ski with Snow Companion app for Facebook

Expedia has further developed its Facebook Trip Companion application into a Snow Companion service.

The app enables users to plan, create a shortlist and book a ski holiday with a group of friends within Facebook.

Expedia unveiled an upgraded version of Trip Companion three weeks ago combining professionally generated content and user reviews as well as a wishlist feature.

The online travel agency initially unveiled a beta version of the app just over a year ago enhancing it with a raft of new features in March 2011.

The Snow Companion service has been developed in conjunction with design company Made by Many with input from ski and snowboard enthusiasts.
