Just days after Lastminute.com revealed its inspire me technology to help consumers find the best city break deals, British Airways has unleashed its own inspiration tool.
Consumers can access Holiday Finder via a direct link or by clicking on the ‘not sure where and when’ section of ba.com’s home page which gives them a number of options including a map-based budget and temperature search.
The technology enables them to search using a number of filters including budget, temperature, journey time and star rating.
Just under a year ago BA unveiled TripSeeker, a new flight search and planning tool.
Lastminute unveiled its inspire me tool, developed in conjunction with FusePump, earlier this month.
The technology also uses user-defined criteria such as budget and timescale while also enabling consumers to stipulate what they are looking to get from the trip – i.e culture, nightlife.
Google Maps are also a feature of the inspire me platform.
