SeLoger hangs on – Top France travel sites, April 7 2012

SeLoger Vacances has seen its massive lead over its rivals in the list of leading travel sites in France slashed dramatically.

The site saw its eye-watering lead over Voyages-SNCF cut to just 1.4% market share, after previously having a 24%head-start over second place.

NB: Previous position data on the tables is from w/c March 23. Last week’s data was unavailable.

    Just like I wrote in the previous post three weeks ago (http://www.tnooz.com/2012/03/21/data/seloger-vacances-comes-from-nowhere-to-win-top-spot-top-france-travel-sites-march-17-2012/#comments), the data for seloger is not correct. if you look at http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/seloger.com# you can see that here, too, the site lost in traffic, however it is measured for the overall site, one of frances most popular real estate listings site and thus does not provide the complete picture. Hitwise does in the case of seloger.com definitely not consider the subdomain.
