SAS latest to migrate to OpenJaw t-Retail platform

Scandinavian Airline System is to go live on OpenJaw’s t-Retail system at the end of June for its Swedish, Danish and Norwegian websites.

SAS, an existing customer of the technology specialist, will take advantage of OpenJaw’s managed service similar to a deal announced with S7 Airlines last month.

OpenJaw boss Kieron Branagan says the technology will boost the airline’s ancillary sales and dynamic packaging capability and improve the customer booking experience.

The airline also plans to take advantage of t-Retail’s promotion building technology enabling it to create and manage promotions as well as export them to various distribution channels including social media.

The platform also enables SAS to offer its own contracted hotel inventory to customers as well as additional properties brought in from Expedia and other third parties.

OpenJaw will add South Africa’s Comair to the t-Retail platform later this summer.
