National Rail Enquiries brings journey planning to TV

So it looks like sofa so good (geddit?) with National Rail Enquiries application for smart televisions enabling users to find train information from their living rooms.

The app, which follows the launch of a service for mobile devices, has been developed with the TV App Agency which helps companies create a single service to across several different platforms.

NRE enables viewers to search for journeys by route and time as well as providing live departure information.

The company is also exploring the potential for push notifications of train delays.
