  • Tourism Australia and Mr & Mrs Smith have developed the “Best of Australia”, a collection of boutique properties and experiences, as part of the latest phase of the destination’s marketing campaign. A microsite has been created for the initiative with five categories including journeys, cuisine and wildlife.
  • Etihad Airways has unleashed a television campaign highlighting the reasons customers choose it over competitors. The ad aims to drive consumers to a microsite and other digital platforms.
  • HRG is giving new responsibilities to its existing Asia-Pacific boss, Greg Treasure. Based in New York, he will now also take on the role of president for HRG in North America from 9 July 2012.
  • Affiliate Window launches in the US this week as it looks to expand outside of its original UK base. The move also coincides with the affiliate network folding in its Buy.at brand into the main company after acquiring it in March 2010. The company already counts a string of major travel companies on its client roster including Expedia, British Airways, Monarch, Qantas, LowcostHolidays, P&O Cruises, G Adventures and Lonely Planet.
