Triometric goes after online travel with inventory management system

Triometric is opening up its inventory availability management technology which was originally developed in conjunction with a select few travel players including lastminute.com and GTA.

The company believes travel businesses are missing out on lost revenue with one hotel wholesaler identifying annual revenue potential of $9.75 million.

According to Triometric, the system records and makes a copy of search and booking data enabling travel businesses to monitor live supply and demand information without any impact on reservation systems.

Latest updates to the Analyzer technology alert companies to areas where there is customer demand but little or no availability.

The system also shows areas of low demand and through demographic profiling aims to highlight and position the inventory for different segments such as business travellers or families.

The plan is to make the data accessible via iPhone in the coming months as well as release further services in line with the web analyzer system.
