Sabre latest to get China access with TravelSky hotel deal

Sabre has joined forces with China-based TravelSky in a deal with both the GDS sharing hotel content with travel agents connected to the respective systems.

Sabre agents will gain access to 30,000 Chinese properties while agents connected to the state-owned TravelSky will be able to access more than 100,000 hotels on the Sabre system.

In addition, hotels which use the Sabre-owned SynXis reservations technology, will be able to work directly with TravelSky agents as a result of the alliance.

A similar partnership was struck with Sabre subsidiary Abacus and TravelSky earlier this month while Travelport also inked a deal to share hotel content with the China-based GDS in March.
