Mobikon gets Jungle investment for Asia expansion

Digital marketing specialist Mobikon has received $1.7 million in funding to see it through its next phase of development.

The Singapore and India-based company provides Konekt – a marketing, analytics and customer engagement platform to hospitality and retail companies in Asia.

The Series A funding has come from Jungle Ventures, also based in Singapore, as well as local angel investors and will help Mobikon expand its cloud-based service in the region.

Mobikon was founded in 2009 and now has a 30-strong team based in Singapore and India.

The company recently enhanced the platform with a mobile-based Konekt Feedback service enabling hotels and restaurants to track customer engagement and loyalty via iPad and smartphone (using a Quick Response code).
