TripAdvisor loses ground – Top New Zealand travel websites, full month June 2012

User review site TripAdvisor has lost an eighth of its market share in the battle at the top of the leading travel websites in New Zealand.

In June this year the site fell to 7% share of the accommodation category but retained its number one spot, ahead of Booking.com which saw its own share decline by 0.5% and a drop in position to third.

In the agency category, Expedia held on to its coveted market leading role but is now just under 1.5% ahead of Webjet.
