Expedia‘s lead of Priceline at the top of the leading travel websites in the US has narrowed to just 2.5% market share of the agency category.
The Hitwise data for July 2012 shows a 1.2% increase in market share for Priceline as Expedia managed just a 0.09% rise of its own.
Third place site Hotwire fell back 0.25% while Orbitz fell from fourth to sixth over the same period, putting it behind Travelocity and CheapOAir.
