Well that was completely predictable – William Shatner returns for Priceline TV ads [VIDEO]

Just over six months after ex-Star Trek frontman William Shatner supposedly ended his reign as the figurehead of Priceline‘s marketing, when he plunged off a bridge in an ad, he’s back.

Five weeks ago, when the “spirit” of Shatner returned in another TV ad for the online travel agency, it was blatantly obvious to anyone that understands marketing that Priceline was never REALLY going to kill off its prized asset.

And, so, after the mainstream media wrote countless articles about Shatner being bumped off back in January this year, each is piling back in again today with news of his return.

Job done, marketing gurus.
