Agoda passed TripAdvisor at the top of the leading travel websites in Australia – but still has some way to go if global sites are included in market share data.
The hotel booking brand’s dot-com site more than doubled its market share in August, moving ahead of the Australian version of TripAdvisor.
But with the main global site for the user review giant combined, Agoda (even with its Australian version) still lags behind.
Booking.com, in second place in July, fell to third position as a result of Agoda’s recent surge in share of traffic in the country.
