Thomson unveils £5.5 million advertising campaign, spotlights the Dreamliner

Thomson kicks off its latest brand campaign to customers tomorrow via social media channels, email and a dedicated website.

The £5.5m promotion features television advertising for the next six weeks with the first ad to be aired on Saturday during X Factor.

The Holidays Just Got Better promotion tells the story of the evolution of holidays over the past 50 years and features the Dreamliner aircraft, which Thomson will be the first UK airline to use when it takes delivery in May 2013.

The campaign, which the operator is calling its most integrated marketing effort to date, runs until December and is supported by in-store and online advertising.

Beattie McGuinness Bungay, the agency behind this latest campaign was also responsible for other Thomson and First Choice promotions including its brilliant inflight safety video in 2009.
