TnoozLIVE – AUDIO: Economy and consumer trends, how they hit tech, social and mobile

A perfect storm, some might suggest, has hit the travel industry in recent years – one driven by economic challenges, rapid rise of personal technology and impact of social media.

The industry has seen the way people book travel and the way travel is sold evolve further and new models and technology promise to bring another wave of change over the next couple of years.

Smartphones, social media, review sites, discount sites, daily deals are shaking up the travel industry. Or so we’re led to believe.

Getting together for a roundtable lunch recently in London, hosted by Hotwire, were four figures representing different corners of the travel sector.

Tnooz was asked to moderate and given permission to turn it in to an episode of TnoozLIVE (thx!).
