Travellution pulls in funding, plots site revamp for Christmas

Travel social network Travellution has gained a further Euro 300,000 in funding and moved its office to Paris Incubateurs to the east of the city.

Funding is from existing investors, business angels and a Euro 100,000 grant from OSEO, a France-based organisation helping startups raise capital.

The cash injection comes on top of seed funding announced a year ago of between Euro 100,000 and 200,000.

Travellution, which emerged from private beta a year ago, has also boosted its advisory board with Pierluigi Parachhi, partner at Axon Capital, and Olivier Fleurot, boss of public relations firm, MSL Group – both joined prior to the fundraising round.

The startup, (Tlabs here), now plans to expand its team as well as unveil a site revamp by the end of the year.
