What kids and parents do on mobile, not so different actually [INFOGRAPHIC]

This might be something to take comfort from if you’re feeling the generation gap between you and your kids.

The survey of Canadian parents and children throws up lots of interesting findings with parents saying their kids help them with technology  and that it keeps the family closer together.

Children, meanwhile, say they feel proud to have the latest smartphone and wish they could have a new model every year.

Slightly more dubious is that kids say their grades would suffer without their smartphones.

Across texting and voice calls kids pip the parents although not massively but when it comes to downloading and using applications, games and social media the contrast is more notable.
