Four principles for the open world [VIDEO]

How often are we told that open travel systems will fuel innovation and then spearhead how the engine room behind the industry (ie technology) will evolve over time.

Quite a lot.

Open APIs, developer networks, hackathons, access to code and then create apps on global platforms (Facebook et al)

Here, author Don Tapscott takes a step back to outline how at a philosophical level this wider acceptance of openness in the digital world (and a generation with the open web running through their veins and psyche) might play out in the wider economy, socially and culturally.
