Brighter, Bolder, Better Ideas for Travel is a six-month competition by travel technology giant Amadeus to find new ideas to “help transform the travel experience”.

The initiative was launched in December 2010 and created to give individuals or organisations around the travel, tourism and hospitality industry the opportunity to form and develop projects from as diverse as impriving the way people travel to how they search and buy travel goods.

A Blue Ribbon panel of experts, including three Amadeus executives and four industry experts, will review the Brighter, Bolder, Better ideas to improve travel submitted through a dedicated microsite.

They will select the winner of the Euro 20,000 cash prize, with the objective of helping the idea owner make their idea happen. Runners-up will get access to a further pool of Euro 10,000.

Over the course of the competition, media partner Tnooz will be highlighting some of the entries each month and detailing an in-depth look at the winning entry later in 2010.
