Google debuts Hotel Finder on mobile, updates UX
Google’s Hotel Finder service has been updated to appear in mobile search to find places to stay in major cities worldwide.
Tnooz noticed the feature’s appearance as a mobile web search tool this morning.
Rather than build a Google app for iOS for Hotels, Google has released fresh functionality for mobile web browsers.
The company has offered Hotel Finder as a widget on Android devices for some time.
Desktop browser experience changes, too
In case you missed it, the Google Hotel Finder browser experience for desktop has also been wholly revamped. The left-rail, Kayak-ish model has been changed for a more horizontally-based selection of drop-down windows for search options.
