VisitBritain campaign wants you to make some noise
VisitBritain has unleashed its latest marketing push which uses sounds that identify iconic British locations.
The tourism organisation says ‘Sounds of Great Britain’ is a £2.5 million effort which combines online interactive elements and TV advertising.
It is part of a larger campaign to take advantage of the success of the London 2012 Olympic Games with newly released figures showing record numbers to Britain.
The interactive element enables people to create and submit there own advertisement as well as create a Great Britain itinerary which they can then find out more about via VisitBritain’s LoveWall and share with friends via social media.
The advertisement is set to Brit Awards-winning band Rudimental’s Feel the Love.
The campaign, created by Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R and will launch across key markets including Brazil, the US, China, India and Europe.
