“Travel sellers and suppliers can improve not only the traveller experience but also employee satisfaction by automating their B2B payment processes”, according to Anthony Hynes, managing director of eNett International.

In an interview with tnooz, Hynes explains some of the points raised in eNett’s recently published white paper, “Experience Counts – An Untapped Opportunity to Drive Business Performance”.

He says eNett is helping improve the experience of travellers – “the customers of our customers” – in many ways, such as “enabling the forms of payment that travellers want to use and helping our customers to offer these payment methods.”

Hynes also says that, by automating and simplifying B2B payment processes, travel firms can free up staff to concentrate on other tasks, resulting in a more engaged and responsive workforce. A happy workforce means happy customers.

eNett uses Virtual Account Numbers – VANs – to make the B2B payment process simple and more efficient. According to Hynes: “Being able to attach, in real-time, the supplier payment to the traveller booking provides certainty throughout the value chain.”
