HHonors taking points donations for Japan relief

Hilton’s loyalty program is enabling members to donate points to the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies for Japan relief.

And, Hilton will match HHonor member donations up to $250,000.

You can’t donate HHonor points online, but can do so by emailing HHonors_Giving_Back@hilton.com or by phoning a Hilton reservations center and providing the Reward Code for the appropriate fund.

Hilton says 100% of the donations will go to the fund selected, either the General IFRC Fund (Reward Code IRFCDR) or the Japan Fund (Reward Code RCJERD).

HHonors points can be donated in batches of 10,000, which would equal a $25 donation.
