Lola raises another $15 million

On-demand personal travel app Lola has raised $15 million in a Series B round, led by new investor Charles River Ventures.

A statement said that the money will be used for “product development and to begin marketing an all-new version of Lola planned for this spring.

The new version is described as a “first-of-its-kind, mobile experience” and will include AI-assisted hotel recommendations.

The business was set up by Paul English, who co-founded Kayak. Last April it completed a $19.7 million Series A round.

Current investors General Catalyst and Accel have taken part in the Series B.
