Podcast: G Adventures discusses the past and future of responsible, sustainable tourism

In this week’s Travel is your Business podcast, the hosts chat with Eduardo Cartaya from G Adventures. We explored just how sustainable tourism can work for all involved, and how communities can participate in a better travel industry.

After listening to Eduardo’s story from the company’s team in Egypt, it becomes clear that this company believes in its mission — and just how important this mission continues to be in a globally uncertain environment.

The history of G adventures is an interesting one. The company was founded on the principle of making sure that tourism benefited the locals in the destination. The belief was that wives could indeed be changed buy travel. In fact, the company was ahead of the curve when it comes to considering traveler impact on a destination. From this history, the company has built a strong global business.

Eduardo discusses this and more in the podcast episode below.
