THack returns to San Francisco – bring your Valley ideas downtown for more creativity and inspiration

After the success of our first developer hackathon on the west coast of the US last September, THack is heading back to California!

THack San Francisco will run along the same lines as the previous event at SFO – but with a few twists.

There will be two streams:

  • Developers will be given ten days to pull their hacks together ahead of the showcase. Those taking part in this ten-day hack will have three specific travel problems to try and solve and can use any of the APIs we have made exclusively available for the event (listed below).
  • A “concept hack” will be run on the day of the showcase for those wishing to simply outline an idea for a new multi-API product.

The showcase will be hosted at the fantastic offices of HotelTonight in the city on Thursday 19 September. A webinar will take place around ten days before for those taking part in the coding hack.

Prizes will be detailed soon!

**** Further details will be available in the coming days ****

In the meantime, please email editor Kevin May for further details about participating in the event.

We have plenty of commercial opportunities available, too. Contact our sales director Jim Craven.

As far as I remember, there was opportunity to present online on previous THacks. Is there such opportunity for this THack (including “concept hack”) as well?
