THack Hamburg 2015

Tnooz brings its THack roadshow to Hamburg this autumn. It’s our third continent for a hackathon in as many months.

THack Hamburg will run from Friday 16 October to Sunday 18 October. It will give developers and designers the chance to build travel technology products and tools.

Individuals and teams with any skillset (developer, UX designer, business analyst, product manager, etc.) can participate. Participation/entry is FREE, but registration via Eventbrite is required.

Individuals and teams of up to 5 people will build a travel product solution for one of three problem statements.

Total cash prizes of US$10,000+ (Euro 9,100+) will be awarded.

Developers will get their hands on NDC-compliant APIs for airline shopping and related travel services. The new technical standard for the airline industry, IATA’s XML-based New Distribution Capability (NDC) provides consumers with the same experience no matter where they do their shopping.

THack’s sponsoring organizations and API providers, including Hotelbeds, Jet Messaging Technologies, SITA, IBM, HP, Airbus BizLab, Make It Social, and Sabre, will give access to their technology for developers to solve a few travel challenges.

The event venue is Betahaus Hamburg.
