  • Aloft Hotels and Design With Reach have come together for a $10,000 sweepstakes on both Aloft and DWR‘s Facebook pages. In addition to the giveaway, any guest who books a hotel directly via the promo site will receive a $50 gift card to Design Within Reach.

Monday July 1, 2013

  • Loews Hotels is sending its director of social media, Piper Stevens, on a cross-country road trip to document the destinations and travelers that the hotel chain serves. “It is important for me to step out from behind my desk and really experience how our guests are engaging with Loews destinations firsthand,” says Piper. “As we continue to build our social media presence, we want to develop programs that truly resonate with our audience and travelers everywhere.”

      I think its commendable that a hotel brand is getting their social media lead out into the world to experience and share, just as a traveler would.

      More brands need to take social out of the office and into the world – that’s where it belongs!
